Congratulations to our Assistant Treasurer and Appointments Officer Con Vernicos on being a recipient of the prestigious Football Canterbury Cec Barlow Award.
Con joined the CRA in 2013 and has risen through the ranks to officiate at the highest level in Football Canterbury. Con's unwavering support and dedication to the CRA during this time as a Committee member, Referee and Mentor has been for the betterment and enjoyment of the members, players, and fans. Con never seeks spotlight or recognition, and is an avid advocate for junior growth and development, having mentored and recruited many family and friends. Con is a leader in every sense of the word.

Last week's session on DOGSO and SPA left Canterbury Refs perfectly placed to weigh in to debates about FA Cup calls. Each week we cover topics like game management, positioning, advantage, handball etc. and new knowledge is applied to video analysis from local, NPL, A-League, or international games.
