You’re almost there! Before the season begins, there are two final things to organise: your referee uniform and access to Dribl.
Get your CRA referee uniform
CRA introduced a new referee uniform in 2025. The previous CRA uniform is no longer approved for use, so make sure you have the current uniform before your first appointment.
New referees
Purchase your first uniform through the CRA Members Portal. You’ll need to have registered for the Members Portal and had your access approved before you can purchase.
Existing referees
Need additional or replacement uniform items? These can be purchased directly from Hallmark Sports, CRA’s Maarka uniform supplier.

Get set up in Dribl
Dribl is the competition management and referee appointments system used by CRA. This is where you’ll:
- set your availability
- receive and accept referee appointments
- access your match information
- complete match-day requirements such as checking coach and player ID, entering scores, and completing the matchsheet.
Once your Play Football registration has been accepted, your details will be transferred into Dribl. You don’t need to create a separate referee registration in Dribl.
Download the Dribl app from the Apple App Store or Google Play if you don’t already have it. You’ll access Dribl using the email address associated with your registration.
New referees are encouraged to attend CRA’s annual pre-season seminar in late March, where we’ll take you through appointments, availability and the match-day process. And extremely importantly, how to set up your bank details so you can be paid!

Once you’ve got your uniform and Dribl access, you’ve completed the referee onboarding process.
Then it’s time for the good bit: your first appointment and getting out on the field.
